Savvi Credit Union asked us to create a campaign for their new ‘lower than ever’ car loan interest rate. This would run across print (newspapers and flyers), outdoor (bus shelters) and most importantly social media. It was vital that the work was clearly different to other bank and credit union campaigns and instantly recognisable as a Savvi Credit Union offering.
The idea
As digital was this campaign’s key driver, the visuals had to be simple, engaging and easy to read. With this in mind, we combined a photographic hero image of a car with an illustration style and colouring that was instantly recognisable as ‘Savvi’.
Working with an on brand colour palette of greens and teals, we created illustrations of Dublin landmarks as a backdrop for the hero image, reserving space above and below for our headline copy and CTA messaging.
The execution
Creating the illustrations as separate assets let us easily and cleverly animate the advert and develop the print and outdoor creative. This made it easy to create engaging content for social campaigns, adverts and in-house presentations.
