To promote the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) Food Vision 2030, we produced English and Irish versions of a strategy publication, an implementation plan, launch video and individual mission videos. Other deliverables included social media assets, digital display assets and display materials.
While adhering to Government of Ireland brand guidelines, the creative had to explain the DAFM vision, the Department’s many divisions and sectors and also clearly highlight key information.
The idea
Because it could be easily adapted to the numerous media types where the strategy would be showcased, illustration was used as the main creative asset.
The execution
Bespoke illustrations were used to tell the Food Vision 2030 story and visualise its four individual missions. These were colour coded to clearly differentiate each mission. An important consideration was that all imagery followed official requirements regarding livestock while also evoking Irish settings.
The illustrations were used across a variety of print and digital assets including social media posts, folders, conference backdrops and the launch video. They were further developed for inclusion within four individual mission videos.
